Whole30/Sugar Detox/AIP Journey - Day 24 (What I ate for the day)

Thursday!  I actually slept in until D's alarm went off!  6:15!  Woot woot!  Of course I didn't go to bed until after 10:30.

I had my protein shake and it made me chilly!  But at least not as chilly as I was yesterday!

Shortly after I had finished I received an email that the order I put in for work was ready early!  At least by an hour and a half which was perfect since I could easily park now at work and unload.  I grabbed a decaf coffee while at work and headed to Whole Foods.  YES, again!  I didn't go to the hot bar!  It was too early anyway!  I needed to get a sweet potato, ground turkey, kale and yogurt.  I was good and didn't get anything more!  After I went to the pet store to get treats and kitty food.  Hopefully there will be a surprise on Saturday!

When I got home I cooked up some Paleo Breakfast Scotch Eggs from Stupid Easy Paleo that I wanted for tonight's breakfast for dinner.  I only made half the recipe since I still have meatloaf.  I cooked up the other half of the sausage for another time too.

D asked for sweet potato chocolate chip cookies.  So I used Sally's Baking Addiction Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe and made a couple tweaks.  I subbed sweet potato for pumpkin, used coconut sugar instead of white sugar.  Everything else I kept the same.

I then did some restorative yoga.  If you haven't checked out Yoga By Candace I would highly suggest her Youtube channel.  By the end of the 30 minutes my stomach was rumbling!  Luckily all I needed to do was reheat my food and lunch would be served.

AIP meatloaf and sriracha brussels.  So good together.  As I have stated when I first made the meatloaf it is packed with veggies.  If you haven't checked out Real Plans yet I would highly suggest it.  Specially if you have a busy lifestyle and hate to meal plan.

Dinner!  I've been looking forward to this breakfast for dinner.  I had the scotch eggs I made earlier (I had one here and was still hungry so ate another).  Then 2 slices of Legit Bread with Performance Nut Butter.  It was seriously good, except I needed another egg!  Oh well, it's all good and it's all healthy good for me food!  I want to pack on some muscle and show those gains from the gym!

Oh, and D liked the cookies.  Said they are a little thicker then regular chocolate chip but then these are gluten free, without eggs and added sweet potato.  I hope you try out Sally's recipes!  Everything she makes is fabulous and I have been able to convert everything I have ever made to gluten free.
